ಹಾಯ್ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆ,
ನಿನ್ನೆ ಒಂದು ಮದುವೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಹೋಗುವ ತನಕ "ಹೋಗುವುದಾ ಬೇಡವಾ" ಎಂಬ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅದೇನೋ ಸೆಳೆತ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಹೋದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಜೊತೆಯಾದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ನೆನಪಿನ ಸವಿಮೂಟೆಯೊಂದು ತೆರೆದು ಕೊಂಡಿತು.
ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಆರುವತ್ತನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿದ ಮುದುಕಿಯಂತೆ ಹೋದವಳು ಬರುವಾಗ ಹದಿನಾರರ ನವತರುಣಿಯಂತೆ ಹಾರುತ್ತಾ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೆ.
ಅಂತಹ ನೆನಪುಗಳ ತೇರನ್ನು ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ ಎಳೆಯೋಣ ಎಂಬ ಯೋಚನೆ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ ರದ್ದು. ಫಿಲೋಮಿನಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಐದು ವರುಷಗಳ ಜೀವನದ ರೀಲು ತೆರೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಖಂಡಿತಾ.
ಕ್ಲಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಂದ ಬೈಗಳು, ಅಡಿಟೋರಿಯಂನ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲು, ಹಾಸ್ಯ ನಗು, ಲೈಬ್ರೆರಿ, ಬಾದಾಮಿ ಮರಗಳ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕಲ್ಲುಬೆಂಚು — ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಡೇ ಎಂಬ ಎಂದು ಮರೆಯದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ.
ಹಿಂಜರಿಕೆ, ಮುಜುಗರ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯ ಬರೆದು ಬಿಡಿ. ನೆನಪನ್ನು ಮಧುರವಾಗಿಸೋಣ.
"ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೀನ್ ಹತ್ರ ಬಾ, ಒಂದು ಕೈ ನೋಡೇ ಬಿಡುವಾ ಆಯ್ತಾ" ಎಂಬ ಒಂದು ಹಳೆ ಡೈಲಾಗ್ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೊಡಿತೇನೆ.
